After a continuous 35-year run, the Camaro would end production with the 2002 model year.  A plaque on the dash commemorated 35 years of Camaros.  A special 35th Anniversary Edition option was offered for the SS – it included 35th anniversary decals, embroidery on the front headrests, twins stripes down the center of the car, and unique 17-inch wheels.  Approximately 3000 25th Anniversary Edition Camaros were produced.  Total production for the final year of the Camaro was 42,098.
