1993 Chevrolet Camaro
January 6, 2009The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 and would run through the 2002 model year. Production was moved from General Motor's Van Nuys, California plant to Sainte-Therese, Quebec, Canada. As with the introduction of previous generations, the Camaro received major upgrades in the suspension and power departments. The base model featured a 160 hp V6 while the Z28 featured the LT1 350 V8 which produced 275 hp and 325 ft·lbf. A 6-speed manual transmission was an available option. The Z28 was also the official pace car of the Indianapolis 500.
