The interior saw significant changes in 1984.  Everything was downsized in response to complaints about design quality and appearance.  In addition, the Berlinetta model received digital instrumentation, including a digital speedometer and bar-graph-like tachometer.  The L69 Z28 was made available with an automatic transmission and a unique-to-1984-model-year Corvette Handling Package (Code F41) was also an option.
