1982 Chevrolet Camaro

1982 marked the introduction of the third-generation Camaro, which would continue through the 1992 model year.  A lot of Camaro first were made in 1982, most notably fuel injection.  Other highlights the third-generation 1982 Camaro had over the previous years were: 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manuals transmissions, larger wheels (14 and 15 inches), and perhaps the most shocking, a four-cylinder engine.  Three models were available: Sport Coupe, Berlinetta, and Z28.  The Z28 was the official Indianapolis 500 pace car and sold over 6000 models in that form.
