After a two year absence, the Z28 was re-introduced to the Camaro lineup after the Pontiac Trans Am’s saw a massive sales increase in 1976.  The Z28 was powered by a 185 hp 350 cubic-inch V8 and most Z28s were sold with air conditioning and an automatic transmission.  The Z28 was a once-again a sales success for Chevrolet.
