1973 Chevrolet Camaro

April 28, 2009

Like most cars in the 1970s, federal safety mandates required changes from classic chrome bumpers to impact-resistant ones.  This change took full effect in 1972.  A new Type LT package was introduced, offering more luxury features such a quieter interior, Rally wheels, sport mirrors, and variable-ratio steering.  Power windows were also re-introduced to the options list, after being absent since 1969.
