1970 Chevrolet Camaro
After a very short but very successful 3-year run with the first-generation Camaro, Chevrolet introduced the second-generation Camaro in 1970. This generation would last significantly longer than the previous, running 11 years through 1981. The new body style had a fastback roof, ventless windows, and no rear side quarter windows. Chevrolet chose to largely retain the same engine options from 1969. The Z28 received a more-potent-but-more-street-friendly 350 cubic-inch V8.
